Dr. Sheldon Little is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry. He co-founded the Sheridan Dental Center in 1973 in what is now the Pickering Town Centre. The expanding practice moved to its current location in 1993.

In 1989, Dr Little recognized the emerging discipline of cosmetic dentistry as an area of potentially significant importance to his patients. In addition, he saw it as a way to address his personal commitment to providing truly beautiful looking smiles for his clients. He joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (www.aacd.com) and in 1992, after a lengthy documentation and peer review, was bestowed with the prestigious Accreditation Award. Photographs of many of his patients with their beautiful smiles line the hall of his practice.

Recently, Dr. Little has been attending The Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education (www.pankey.org) in Key Biscayne, Florida. By staying on top of the leading edge of dentistry, he continues to help his patients maintain their oral health and beautiful smiles for a lifetime. He now cares for families where several generations have been patients for many years.

Dr. Little and Marilyn married in 1973. They have three grown children - Adam, Jeremy, and Sari. Outside the office, Dr little's interest in photography reflect his creativity. As an avid photographer his keen eye for what he sees has allowed our office to display many of his photos. Framed pictures hang on the walls, along with photo books in he patients lounge for all to enjoy.
